If the retrieval and caching options are not feasible for your use case, the Product Search API also provides some built-in integration with the [Product Projections API](https://docs.commercetools.com/api/projects/productProjections.md). To retrieve the projected product data in an additional `productProjection` field in the [ProductSearchResult](https://docs.commercetools.com/urn?urn=ctp%3Aapi%3Atype%3AProductSearchResult), provide the `productProjectionParameters` field with the [ProductSearchRequest](https://docs.commercetools.com/urn?urn=ctp%3Aapi%3Atype%3AProductSearchRequest). Set this field to `{}` to get the full [ProductProjection](https://docs.commercetools.com/urn?urn=ctp%3Aapi%3Atype%3AProductProjection) included in the ProductSearchResult, or add [query parameters](https://docs.commercetools.com/api/deprecations-and-removals.md#productsearchprojectionparams) according to your needs, for example `{"priceCurrency": "USD"}`, to perform [Product price selection](https://docs.commercetools.com/api/pricing-and-discounts-overview.md#product-price-selection) on the returned ProductProjection. [Projecting prices by Store](https://docs.commercetools.com/api/projects/productProjections.md#projection-by-store) works only with [Embedded Prices](https://docs.commercetools.com/api/pricing-and-discounts-overview.md#embedded-prices). This integration option calls the Product Projection API and enriches the search result with the data returned by the API call. Because of this additional API call, the search request takes longer to respond to than a request without the parameters.
