Pricing and Discounts
You can now override ISO 4217 standards for fraction digits, allowing you to precisely control currency decimals and rounding logic in your Project. Additionally, this enhancement allows you to:
- Apply custom rounding increments for specific rules (like 5 Rappen rounding in Switzerland), preventing downstream accounting and banking errors.
- Automate localized totals so that discounted prices and cart totals respect the configured fraction digits (for currencies like the Czech Koruna).
This reduces implementation complexity and ensures compliance with local financial regulations. Previously, the platform enforced ISO 4217 decimal places, which required workarounds for currencies with non-standard precision.
