Control which Product Attributes are copied to Line Items

The new savedToLineItem field on AttributeDefinition controls whether an Attribute value is copied onto a LineItem when a Product is added to a Cart. When set to false, the Attribute value is excluded from the Line Item variant at the time the Product is added. This enables you to reduce Line Item payload sizes by excluding Attributes that are not needed on Line Items, such as long product descriptions or metadata fields.
The Attribute data remains stored on the Product; only the Line Item copy is affected. Line Items already in a Cart reflect a changed savedToLineItem value the next time their Product data is updated. For more information, see Line Items.

Cart Discount and Shipping Method predicates that reference an excluded Attribute evaluate as if the Attribute is not set.

The following API changes were introduced:
