# Use the InStore Center

Overview of the InStore Center features and navigation.

## InStore Center overview

Use the InStore Center to configure business rules, branding, localization, and device and store settings for the InStore POS. It also provides insights and troubleshooting tools.

- Configure administration and security via [store roles](/instore/use-the-instore-center/store-roles.md) and [administration parameters](/instore/customization/administration-parameters.md).
- Manage branding with [receipt template sets](/instore/use-the-instore-center/receipt-template-sets.md). Additional branding is available through the [InStore APIs](/instore/customization/pos-overview.md).
- Maintain best practices with [reference lists](/instore/use-the-instore-center/reference-lists.md) and [localization](/instore/use-the-instore-center/localization.md).

We recommend logging out of the InStore Center at the end of your workday. The portal has an automatic timeout that ends sessions without warning.
