Customized order URL for Google Checkout

4 November 2026
Agentic Commerce
New feature
AI Hub
The Google Checkout module can now use a customized order URL to link shoppers to your order details page. If you configure an AI Hub webhook as the checkout extension, the module uses the complete orderUrl returned in the webhook response. This URL can include an external order number and query parameters, such as a customer token, which is useful when order details are managed in an external Order Management System (OMS).
If the webhook response doesn't include an orderUrl, the module falls back to the order URL template defined in the storefront field or Store Custom Field.
For more information, see Order view URL and Checkout extensibility.

Cart capability for the Google module

3 November 2026
Agentic Commerce
New feature
AI Hub
The Checkout component of the Google module now supports the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) cart capability. AI agents on Google surfaces, such as Gemini and Google Search, can create, read, update, and cancel carts in your commercetools Project, so buyers can build a basket over several conversation turns before they start checkout.

Carts are scoped to the Store configured for the Checkout component, and only include products that are sold in that Store. Cart updates are all-or-nothing: if any item cannot be added, the whole request is refused and the agent receives an actionable message for each affected item.

The cart capability is enabled by default and requires no configuration. To get it, update your Checkout component to the latest version.

For more information, see Cart.

Improved UCP error messages

Agentic Commerce
Enhancement
AI Hub

UCP errors are now mapped to clear, actionable messages during checkout. Shoppers can better understand what went wrong and, where possible, what they can do to resolve the issue instead of receiving a generic error message.

For the full list of UCP error codes and the messages returned to shoppers, see UCP error mapping.

Save AI Hub component configurations without connecting

Enhancement
AI Hub
Configurations for Product sync, Checkout, and Order import can now be saved without connecting the components. Connecting is a separate step and can be done using the Connect toggle when you're ready.

Stripe ACS Product Sync update for empty product feed handling

17 August 2026
Agentic Commerce
Resolved issue
AI Hub

We have resolved an issue with the Stripe Agentic Commerce Suite (ACS) Product Sync where processing an empty product feed caused the sync to return a failed status. Empty product feeds can now be processed correctly.

An update to the Product Feed connector is available. To apply it, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Merchant Center.
  2. Go to Settings > Agentic channels.
  3. Select the Stripe ACS channel and open the Product sync tab.
  4. In the info box notifying you of a new version of the connector, click Upgrade.

If there is not an info box notifying you of a new version of the connector, the update has already been applied and no action is required.

For more information about managing your Stripe ACS Agentic Channel, see Manage agentic channels.

{/* vale commercetools.DiscriminatoryWords = NO */}

With AgenticLift, you can make your catalog discoverable and purchasable through AI shopping platforms such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini, regardless of your commerce stack and without replatforming.

AgenticLift runs as a stack-agnostic sidecar on a dedicated commercetools project, so you can go live on agentic channels while your core commerce system stays untouched. It connects your catalog to AI shopping platforms through three components: the Agentic Activation Studio for onboarding and data modeling, the Universal AI Feed for near real-time catalog, price, and availability synchronization, and Agentic Checkout for transactions compliant with the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP).

You manage catalog inclusion, content, and channel status directly in the Merchant Center.

To get started, see the AgenticLift overview and the setup and implementation guide.
