Technical guide for provisioning accounts, configuring project settings, modeling product data via the Smart Data Modeler, and activating agentic channels.
Setting up AgenticLift follows a sequential six-phase process. You must complete project configuration and data modeling before importing catalog data or activating channels.
The phases are as follows:
Prerequisites
Before starting, ensure the following items are ready or in progress:
- commercetools Project: Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to provision a dedicated AgenticLift Project with the add-on activated. If you don't have a commercetools contract yet, you can set up a trial project to explore the Merchant Center and familiarize yourself with the platform before engaging with a CSM. The trial flag must be removed before production use.
- Smart Data Modeler access: Submit a support request with your project key and region to enable the Smart Data Modeler.
- Product catalog export: Export your product catalog from your legacy system in CSV or JSON format.
- Data readiness: Audit your catalog data for required fields such as
brand,condition,gtin,image_link,description, and product page URLs. Confirm your variant grouping logic. Variants of the same product must share anitem_group_id.
