You can now configure a retry policy for event applications. A retry policy controls how Connect retries a failed event delivery before the delivery is considered failed, using either an immediate or an exponential-backoff strategy.

To define a default retry policy for an event application, add the retryPolicy field to the application in connect.yaml. To override it for a specific Deployment, set the retryPolicy field of DeploymentConfigurationApplication when you create or redeploy the Deployment.
