InStore Center
You can now share a single cash drawer across multiple workstations, even when those workstations use different default printers.
Previously, a workstation could open a cash drawer only through its default printer. This meant that the workstation default printer and the printer connected to the cash drawer had to be the same device.
InStore now triggers the cash drawer pulse through the printer assigned to the drawer instead of the workstation default printer. This lets multiple workstations share a single cash drawer located between them, even if each workstation uses a different default printer for receipts.
When you set up a workstation, you can select any active, shared cash drawer as the Default Cash Drawer, regardless of the workstation Default Printer.
