You can deactivate the email format validation for Customers and Business Units in the Merchant Center. With this enhancement, you can now have the same validation for emails in the Merchant Center, as allowed by the Customers and Business Units APIs. To deactivate validation, go to Settings > Project settings > Miscellaneous and click the Disable email format validation for customer emails toggle.
