InStore POS
InStore POS now supports offline mode, allowing you to continue processing take-with sales and cash payments when workstations lose network connectivity. Workstations use a locally cached Catalog, including prices and sales tax, so store colleagues can add items to Carts, accept cash payments, and print receipts without an active network connection.
Transactions processed while offline are assigned the
OFF Cart key prefix and stored securely on the workstation. When network connectivity is restored, InStore POS synchronizes the aggregated transactions in batches to create Orders and Payments in your commercetools Project, preserving inventory and financial accuracy.You can activate offline mode by contacting your commercetools representative. Once activated, configure the workstation behavior by adding offline parameters to your parameter sets in the InStore Center.
