Zen Electron Trade is finalizing the catalog for Pacific Property Group, a Company with two Divisions, Residential and Commercial. Both Divisions buy from the shared Zen Electron Trade catalog, but Commercial is entitled to an additional range of commercial-grade appliances, and needs those appliances presented under commercial-specific names. Residential must never see the commercial-grade range.
As the Functional Architect, decide how to scope each Division's assortment, choose Product Selection modes, avoid the inactive-selection trap, and apply Product Tailoring where it fits.

Well done for completing the Design B2B catalogs module. You can now scope a buyer's catalog with Product Selections, predict assortment behavior including the inactive-selection trap, and vary Product presentation per Store with Product Tailoring.
In the next module, Discover and order products in B2B, you will learn how buyers find and order what they need: Product Search for scoped, price-aware catalogs, Shopping Lists for shared and repeat purchasing, and price faceting for catalog browsing.
