Your company, EcoThreads, sells sustainable clothing online. They have recently implemented Composable Commerce and are using state machines to manage their Order fulfillment process.
Initially, they set up basic States: OrderReceived, PaymentVerified, ItemsPacked, and Shipped. However, they have noticed a significant increase in customer inquiries about Order status, especially when Orders are delayed due to supplier issues.
They want to add a new State called SupplierDelay to ensure that when an Order is in this State, customers receive a notification and the support team is alerted. They also want to make sure that they are following best practices when modifying existing States.
