Search for devices and view details about their availability and usage in the InStore Center.
You can search for devices in the InStore Center and filter results by various attributes. This helps you find devices based on location, type, status, and other criteria.
Search for devices
To search for devices, do the following:

From the main menu, select Devices.

In the Search Criteria pane, select one or more filters:
- Location: Filter by active locations in the current environment.
- Device Type: Filter by device type, such as
Printer
,Cash Drawer
,Scanner
,PED
,Workstation
, orSafe
. - Device Status:
Active
: The device is assignable for use in the location.Inactive
: The device is not enabled for use.
- Workstation: The device on which InStore is running (also called a till or register).
- Device Model: Filter by models approved for use with InStore.
- Shared?:
Yes
: The device is available for use by more than one workstation at the same time (for example, a printer).
- Last Used:
Never
: Find devices that are unused or not yet put into service.

Click Search.If you receive too many results, add more filters to narrow your search. You can also use the Rows per page dropdown to change the number of visible rows.

To view details for a device, click the View icon in the Actions column.
