Search
For B2C commerce, Algolia is integrated as an example to showcase how well commercetools Frontend integrates with other products.
For B2B commerce, Product Search is integrated by default.
If you prefer other search providers, visit the Integration Marketplace for integration offerings. You can also build your own using our Integrating external search guide.
The example Algolia integration of the Store Launchpad for B2C Retail replicates the B2C sample data Product modeling in Algolia. Adding Attributes to Product Types does not require changes to the integration code. However, deleting, or modifying Product Types may require changes to the integration code or search schema to prevent potential data loss. Refer to the documentation of your connected third-party search service for what you need to do when Product Types change.
Payment
For B2C commerce, Frontend is integrated with Checkout and has a sample payment Connector configured by default. This connector is meant for test purposes only. When you're ready to go live, replace it with a production-ready payment Connector. Choose from our supported payment service providers (PSPs).
For B2B commerce, the guide supports checkout by invoice, only requiring customers to enter a Purchase Order number.

Email
