InStore_CashManagement

The InStore_CashManagement module provides functionality for managing and tracking cash within a single location.

InStore_CashManagement is a product module that provides core functionality for the InStore colleague app. As such, you cannot modify or remove the module. To learn more about module configurability, contact your commercetools representative.

Capabilities

  • Perform a cash audit of any cash drawer or safe at the current location.
  • Perform a cash count (removal to safe) of the user's current cash drawer with a printed receipt, with or without the expected total.
  • Report a correction if a count differs from the expected total.
  • Provision a counted cash drawer with a predetermined reserve amount after each cash count.
  • Perform pay-in and pay-out fund movements between cash drawers, collect reason codes, and print receipts.
  • Perform transfer-in and transfer-out fund movements between a cash drawer and a safe with printed receipts.
  • Prepare a safe deposit with a cash count, collect a reason code, and print a receipt.
  • Prepare a bank deposit with a cash count and print a receipt.
  • Provide a summary in the InStore Center of cash counts, including date and time, reason code, and user ID.

An individual user's ability to perform certain actions may depend on their role and the settings that the retailer selects in the administration parameters.
