commercetools Connect product description

commercetools Connect is a component of the Composable Commerce ecosystem, designed to facilitate the development and deployment of integrations to and from commercetools Composable Commerce. It is aimed at merchants looking to expand and customize their Composable Commerce setup, as well as developers looking to create commerce solutions and customization.

With commercetools Connect, application developers and merchants have the flexibility to use pre-existing integrations from the marketplace instantly. They can also extend these integrations or develop custom ones tailored to specific Projects, or broadly applicable and available for a wider range of Projects. These applications undergo certification to ensure functionality, security, and compatibility with Composable Commerce.

A key feature of commercetools Connect is its elimination of the need for dedicated infrastructure. It provides the necessary runtime environment, simplifying the management of integrations. Developers can configure and deploy Connect applications, referred to as Connectors, using the Connect API.

Example use cases include integrating payment service providers, order management systems, content management systems, and more. With the different types of connectors (pre-built, extended, and custom), Connect can cover all integration needs of a merchant.

If not included in your current offering, please contact your commercetools representative if you are interested in purchasing commercetools Connect.
